Working Together to Maintain a Healthy Workplace (COVID-19 Update)
At Odlum Brown, the health and well-being of our valued clients, team members and business partners remains our top priority. We are actively monitoring the ongoing COVID-19 situation and wanted to share with you the steps we are taking to maintain a healthy workplace and prepare to serve our clients in the event of a business disruption.
Our leadership team continues to meet on a daily basis to share information from provincial and federal health authorities, to ensure that we are kept informed and can make adjustments to our business operations as necessary.
We have advised our team members to stay home if they are experiencing symptoms of illness.
We have made the difficult decision to close our offices to outside visitors. If you have a scheduled appointment at any one of our offices, please contact your Investment Advisor or Portfolio Manager to make alternate arrangements.
All team members are required to self-isolate for 14 days upon returning from travel, regardless of whether they are asymptomatic or exhibiting mild symptoms of illness.
We have arranged for deep cleaning services of our premises on a regular basis.
We have business continuity plans in place across the firm, and we are prepared to serve our clients in the event of a business disruption.
Social distancing is in effect.
- Avoiding handshakes and hugs
- Keeping our distance from others on public transportation, including elevators
- Keeping our distance when socializing in public. A distance of six feet is recommended, where possible.
We are monitoring this situation closely and are committed to providing updates as new information becomes available. Thank you for doing your part to help us maintain a healthy workplace for our clients, team members and partners.
Please contact your Investment Advisor or Portfolio Manager should you have any questions.
