With nearly 20 years of investment management experience, I follow a disciplined and value‐based investment approach. I work with my clients to help them achieve their long‐term investment goals by identifying their objectives and risk tolerances, and customizing their investment portfolios. The breakdown and selection of investments of my clients’ portfolios are determined individually and may include equities as well as fixed income investments. I also conduct regular portfolio reviews with my clients to ensure that their portfolios continue to be in‐line with their expectations and individual goals.
As a Portfolio Manager, I am able to offer fee‐based discretionary portfolio management to high net‐worth individuals, corporations and trusts. Discretionary management offers clients the freedom from responsibility of asset management, as I can oversee daily investment decisions on their behalf.
Why I Joined Odlum Brown Limited
Odlum Brown is unique. It is truly independent, as it is not owned by any other financial institution, which allows me to provide unbiased advice.
Odlum Brown is not involved in any underwriting and does not have any proprietary products that may
influence the advice that we provide.
My values and the values of Odlum Brown Limited are aligned; I believe that honesty, ethics and integrity are the most important values that one can have.
I hold a Masters Diploma in Financial Strategy from the Saïd Business School at the prestigious University of Oxford. I am also a graduate of the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Science degree and I hold a post‐graduate level diploma in Business Administration along with several industry accreditations including the Fellow of CSI (FCSI). The FCSI is the highest honour and most senior credential in Canadian financial services. It is reserved solely for an elite group of experienced financial services professionals that meet the highest standards for advanced education, ethical conduct, industry experience and peer endorsement.
Giving back to my community, I am a Wish Grantor and UnWined Committee member with the Make‐A‐Wish Foundation and I serve on the Inspiration Gala Committee with the BC Cancer Foundation, one of the largest fundraising events in Canada.
My past community involvement includes being on the Board of Directors at Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (EGBC), where I served on the Executive, Audit and Governance Committees, and chaired the Audit Committee.
At the end of February 2020, I was proud to speak at the Gender Equality Forum, as a sponsor of Soroptimist International Western Canada Region + View my opening speech
