Prior to joining Odlum Brown, Chuck spent 12 years with National Bank Financial both as an advisor and as an associate with several of the firm’s top advisors.
Chuck grew up in the Ottawa Valley and graduated from Western University before moving to Vancouver in 1993. He and his wife moved to Kelowna in 2006 where they now spend time with their two daughters ski racing, cycling, and enjoying the outdoors. He has completed two Ironman Canada triathlons along with several marathons and GranFondo cycling events in the Okanagan Valley.
Chuck’s past experience has helped form his key investment philosophy – putting client’s interests first – which is why he is now with Odlum Brown. He helps clients with everything from saving for their children’s education, creating their retirement fund, to creating an income stream in retirement.
With over 20 years of experience, Chuck has developed an investment approach that includes:
- Understanding the goals and objectives of each individual client’s needs
- Allocating investments by asset classes and selecting securities based on client objectives and risk tolerance.
- Ongoing monitoring of the economy, markets, and each client’s needs
- Regular evaluation and review of the portfolio
In order to implement this process, Chuck utilizes a variety of research, including value-based concepts and recommendations from the Odlum Brown Model Portfolio.
Working with your tax professional, Chuck implements tax efficient strategies in an effort to maximize your net return.
To address your financial, retirement, estate planning and insurance needs, Chuck also works with our in-house experts at Odlum Brown Financial Services Limited (OBFSL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Odlum Brown Limited.
