We're Passionate About Our Community

GW Graham Secondary Athletics

GW Graham Secondary Athletics

We are proud to support sports in our local community. At GW Graham Secondary, Paul works with the middle school rugby program and local regional teams. Sarah coaches the school’s senior and junior girls basketball teams and actively helps to develop club basketball in our community.

Chilliwack Community Services

Chilliwack Community Services

As a long-standing member of the community, Chilliwack Community Services plays a leading role in contributing to strategic social service planning for the area. It has solid relationships with virtually all not-for-profit organizations, service clubs, church groups and community resources. Paul is currently serving as the Board's President and the team supports many of the programs throughout the year, including the Starfish Backpack Program and the Christmas sharing program.

Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope

Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope – Chilliwack

The Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope is the largest and most powerful event of its kind in the country. Held in over 40 communities nationwide, it is the only walk in Canada to direct all attention and fundraising towards overcoming ovarian cancer.

Held annually during Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month in September, this family-friendly event raises vital funds to provide support, raise awareness and fund much-needed research into prevention, improved treatments and ultimately, a cure. In 2015, Deborah and Sarah chaired the first volunteer committee for the Chilliwack Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope, and they continue to participate and raise funds annually.

We are pleased to be members of the Chilliwack Mt. Cheam Rotary.  As committee members for initiatives such as the Leaders of Tomorrow and CATT Fund, we proudly support many Rotary programs and events locally and internationally. Rotary brings together volunteers who dedicate their time and talent to tackle pressing humanitarian challenges. This organization connects 1.2 million members from more than 200 countries and geographical areas to impact lives at both local and international levels – from helping families in need to working towards a polio-free world.
