She provides perspective for growing wealth when the market is strong, and on structuring assets to preserve capital when the market is not. Over more than 25 years in the industry, she has seen her fair share of market turmoil, and has guided her clients through challenging times, providing them with clarity and peace of mind.
Marina takes the time to learn about her clients and truly understand their investment needs. She carefully assesses each client's risk tolerance and financial objectives, and then designs a portfolio that is most suitable to them. In line with Odlum Brown’s investment style, Marina focuses on selecting quality investments for her clients. Keeping in mind the ever-changing landscape of the investment world, she regularly monitors client accounts to ensure that they are aligned with the market and that they continue to meet the client’s often changing objectives.

As a Portfolio Manager, Marina primarily handles discretionary accounts for high-net-worth individuals and foundations. She also works with a team of experts at Odlum Brown Financial Services Limited* to offer full access to financial planning, insurance and estate planning, and tax information services.

Education
Marina completed international studies at the University of Grenoble, France prior to obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia. Marina is committed to furthering her education to ensure that her clients’ best interests are met. In addition to completing the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH), Canadian Investment Management Part I and Portfolio Management Techniques, Marina also holds the Canadian Investment Manager designation (CIM), is a Certified Professional Consultant in Aging (CPCA®) and has completed her Partners, Directors and Senior Officers Course (PDO).
Personal
As a third generation Vancouverite, Marina has deep roots in the city. She is active in her community, both socially and through the many organizations with which she has been involved over the years. She has been on the Board of Endeavour for the Benefit of the Arts, Science and Health and the Vancouver Contemporary Art Gallery, and currently serves on the Investment Committee of BC Children’s Hospital.
Through hard work and determination, Marina maintains a balance as an established career woman and mother of three children.
