About Mathis
Originally from Düsseldorf, Germany, Mathis moved to Canada in 2008 to attend Simon Fraser University where he completed his B.A. in Economics and competed for the school’s NCAA American football team.
He joined Odlum Brown in 2014 as an assistant to the esteemed Chris Tidd (retired). Today, Mathis is a Portfolio Manager and Investment Advisor with a Chartered Investment Manager® designation.
Mathis’s adopted home is North Vancouver, where he enjoys an active lifestyle that includes running, mountain biking and most importantly, skiing with his children. The Odlum Brown spirit of giving back is also very important to Mathis. He volunteers his time with local youth sports and is the Social Director of the German Canadian Business Association in Greater Vancouver.
