With over 30 years of experience in helping clients secure their financial futures, Floyd has developed a reputation for delivering results.

Before joining Odlum Brown in 1989, Floyd managed the Financial Services Division of one of the most successful BC branches of a major investment firm. While there, he managed the personal investment portfolios of high net worth individuals. In 1999, Floyd was appointed to the Odlum Brown Board of Directors. In 2014, he was appointed Vice President.

Floyd is extremely active in his community as Presenting Sponsor of the 2019 BC Senior Provincial Championships, which was profiled in Tennis BC. He formerly presided as the Tournament Chair of the Odlum Brown VanOpen, which was the second largest professional tennis tournament in Canada. He is still heavily involved in the tennis community, supporting local tournaments.


Marian Bayley Marian Bayley, FCSI®, CIM
Investment Associate, Associate Portfolio Manager

Marian has over 30 years of experience in the investment industry. She joined Odlum Brown in 2001 to work with Floyd Hill. Previously, Marian worked within the Vancouver brokerage community as an Investment Assistant and in a corporate administration capacity. From 1989 to 1991 she was the Manager, Trading at an internationally recognized mutual fund management company.

In 1994, Marian was approved as a Registered Representative by IIROC (Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada, formerly the Investment Dealers Association of Canada) and received the Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) designation in the same year. In 2006, she became an Associate Portfolio Manager.

Marian enjoys the dedicated environment of Floyd Hill’s team and working directly with clients to help them attain their financial goals. The team’s comprehensive and highly personalized approach allows Marian the opportunity to develop a strong rapport with clients and get to know them as individuals.

Marian grew up in the Lower Mainland. In addition to running and cycling, she has a keen interest in photography. She has completed the Photography Arts Certificate Program at Langara College.

Vidyha Vivekananda

Vidhya Vivekananda
Investment Assistant

Vidhya joined Odlum Brown in 2019 after moving to Vancouver from Toronto. She has almost a decade of experience in the accounting/finance industry but has always loved the excitement and challenge of Wall Street and was keen on pursuing a career in the investment industry. Vidhya is currently working towards earning her CFA Charter.

Vidhya grew up in Toronto and enjoys travelling, reading and spending time outdoors. She was stunned by the beauty of British Columbia and has spent the last 3 years exploring what BC has to offer as much as possible.

David O'Brien

David O'Brien, FCSI®, CIM®
Investment Advisor

David joined the investment management industry in 1991 as an Investment Advisor. After building a successful advisory business, his career progressed into management roles in the mutual fund industry. His career eventually took him to Toronto where he held senior positions at a bank-owned investment management firm. David was thrilled to have the opportunity to return to the West Coast and continue his career at Odlum Brown.

David is married with two adult children. He is an avid outdoorsman and loves to fish, hike and explore British Columbia.

Investment Associate

Before joining Odlum Brown in 2023, April spent the previous 15 years at bank-owned full-service investment firms in the Lower Mainland and Okanagan. Over her tenure, she worked primarily with high-net-worth individuals, families and corporations. April is passionate about delivering an exceptional client experience.

April became a Registered Representative with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (formerly IIROC) in 2011 and received her Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation in 2023. April was born and raised in the Lower Mainland and comes from a large family. She enjoys golf, skiing and hiking and can be found outside the office with her dog, Bruce, enjoying Vancouver trails – rain or shine.
